Urban Taste Grill was founded in 2019 by chef and restaurateur Jaime Lynn Sowards with a single guiding belief: that great food and a great evening start with great people. After two decades cooking in kitchens across the country, Jaime returned home to central Pennsylvania to open a restaurant that celebrates the abundance of the region's farms, dairies, and waters.
Tucked into a beautifully restored building on Penn Street in Millheim, our dining room is built for warm, lingering meals — leather banquettes, candlelit tables, and an open kitchen where you can watch the wood-fired grill at work.

Our culinary team — led by chefs with decades of combined experience in fine dining — works closely with local farmers and watermen to shape a menu that changes with the seasons. We butcher whole animals, make our own pasta and breads in-house, and source produce from growers within a hundred miles whenever we can.

From Sunday family suppers and birthday celebrations to quiet weeknight dinners at the bar, our team is here to make every visit feel personal. We have a thoughtful kids' menu, gluten-free and vegetarian options, and a private dining room available for parties of up to twenty.
